European Mount Plaques!

Here are a couple of plaques that my neighbor made for me, for the european mounts that I did on my last couple of bucks.

I thought the plaques turned out great. He made them out of solid oak...planed them down and stained one "golden oak" and the other (the darker one) "American Heritage".

Anyway, just wanted to show them. He's never made these before, but I thought he did an excellent job, and quick!! I just took him over a pattern that I drew up a few days ago.

You can also pull two screws, turn the part with the skull on it 180 degrees and this can sit on a desktop or a shelf for display also.

I tried a little buckeye pride on my last two plaques. I am going to copy your pedestal under the head next time. They look great, he should sell them!
