What upkeep goes into keeping your mount looking just as good as the day you picked it up? This is my first deer mount, and i'm not sure what I need to do. I remember being told to oil someparts to keep them from cracking. Any advice?![]()

keep it out of the sun...we have a beauty 169 5/8 typical my dad shot but he hung it near a big south facing window. After 15 years teh hair has bleached out a lot. The worst part...he hung teh moose he just got in that spot and moved the deer.

there is nothing that should be required other than an occassional dusting and keeping it in a controlled environment. Do not put oil on it!!!!
