    Man, I wish Cvehunter and anyone else lucky enough to go huntin' turks this weekend, good luck. I just checked and they opened their season March 5th. Wish I'd known that, I'd be down there chasing birds instead of sittin here and wishin.........

    I'd sure like to go after some Osceolas someday. The last time I checked in a few places the 1st week was booked up. Oh well maybe next year. Anyway we open next Tuesday so it won't be long now. Our youth (for 15 and under) week started Tuesday so I'm going this weekend to help out a youth hunter too.

    Hey Rhino, i'm from ms too. Taking someone this weekend as well. I haven't seen too many people from MS competing this year. So far you and me are the only ones i have found. Good luck this year. Lets show these boys what ms turkey hunting is all about.

    It's a thrill for me too redbeard.

    BTW, I have another youngster I'm taking during the regular season. I really enjoy seeing their reactions to the whole turkey hunting experience. It's a whole lotta fun.

    There are 2 others that I recall. One member from the Delta area and preacherman. Good luck 257Roberts this weekend and the rest of the season. We are blessed to get 3 gobblers here compared to most other states. Except for Alabama and parts of Texas I don't know anywhere else where you can take at least 3 gobbers. It sure is nice that we're getting 47 days to hunt (excluding youth week) from now on too. They're trying to spoil us but I'll never complain.
