3" Hevi-Shot #5's. I tried out some Federal Mag-Shok last week and it patterned great thru that tube also.

Just make sure you have the one that is designed to shoot hevi-shot if thats what your using! HS Strut makes two types of tubes!

The "Undertaker" and the "HS Undertaker". The HS Undertaker is the one they make for hevi-shot!

The Undertaker should definitely pattern better than your factory tube. But it will most likely not pattern nearly as well as some of the "top shelf" tubes. At least that's what my experience has been. Like somebody already said.........it's a good tube for the money.

My Undertaker patterns well. I have no complaints and don't think you will either. Good luck and kill some good birds!

I also use one in my Mossberg 500. I've patterned this particular dinosaur with every shell out there, too, and I have to say my best combination for this choke and this gun is the Winchester Supreme #5's, (black shells). Great kill pattern out to 35 yards, possibly 40, but I'd never shoot above 30 if possible.
