I have
I shoot it out of a Mad max and a Tru-Glo, both seem to like it.
I've been shooting it thru an Undertaker the last 4 years with no problems at all.
I will not recommend anyone who reads this to try it...but I've shot heavy shot from several different chokes that were designed for lead shot.![]()
thx guys I think I will try the hevishot this weekend![]()
I wouldn't recommend it.
I have shot them through an Undertaker(lead) and a Hastings and I wouldn't recommend it either. I got a choke specifically made for hevi-shot and it patterned MUCH better than with the other two.
Matthew.
Before going with a Rhino choke and Nitro loads, I was shooting a Tru-Glo choke and Winchester supreme's. When Remington first came out with their hevishot loads a few years ago, I bought a box of 3" 1 1/2oz of #5 hevishot loads and tried them out of my Tru-Glo choke tube. To be honest, they actually patterned better than the Winchester load that I was using at that time. But, the pattern still wasn't what I wanted at the 40 yard marker. Hence my switch to the Rhino/Nitro combo.
