    Default Primos Hoot Flute?

Anyone have any experiences in the field with this call?
Suppose to be a 4 in 1 type call.
I bought one on a wimp yesterday at Walmart for only $4 and it sounds good but not very loud IMO.
Just wondering if it reaches out there or not.
    Thanks.

I love this hooter. It's not very loud, but it works well on calm days. I've had birds answer up to 400 yards.

Cover up both the holes on the side and blow it.Thats what works for me.

I agree that covering the 2 holes side-by-side seems to give the best owl sound. I was just worried that it was just not loud enough. I guess some field testing is in order. Thanks for your replies!

I have the H.S. Strut model similar to the Hoot Flute. I just can't get a good tongue roll at the end like I can with the Palmer's Hoot Tube. But it does work when I want to be more quite on closer birds.
