    Default Federal FC wad stuck in 2x4 @ 40 yards:updated pic

    Finally got around to get pic of the wad. Buddy patterned his gun the other day with the Federal FC's, he was amazed. He laid a large piece of cardboard against a carpenters horse. The Federal Flight Control wad went through the cardboard and stuck into the 2x4 stud of the horse at 40 yards. Honestly! He told me about this but I couldn't believe it. I went down to shoot and sure enough, there it was. It wouldn't come out, it is wedged in the 2x4. He was shooting a Federal FC 3.5in. 2 1/4 oz. #6 with a Remington SPS-T Thumbhole and a Kicks Gobbling Thunder .655. Truley remarkable!

    Thats incredible, i really need to find some #6s and see how they compare to the HV's.

    that is cool as i am shooting a tight wad from primos and it too is .655 and my groups really got tight but i didn't have any wad sticking in a 2x4 but the winchester supreme in 3 inch 2oz number 6 shot is a good round also. tell him great shooting and i am sure ol'tom will not like it when he lays a shot on him lol
