Just wondering if anyone has any info on the average lifespan of a wild turkey. Today is the forth day of season here in Tennessee. Myself, my son and my hunting partner have managed 4 birds total.

Not sure what a typical life span is but around you and your posse it dont sound like very long to me. LOL
Congrats on the harvest!
I have heard no more than 5 years. 4 years being very seldom. Normally if they last 5 years, they become very vulnerable to predators. This is just what I have heard. Don't know how acurate it is.

Depends how close he lives to my house.
I'm guessing a wild turkey over the age of 6 is a very lucky, old bird.
Here's a site with some good info.

There are no known adverse effects of wild turkeys on humans.
whoever wrote this has never crawled into a bottle of 101, or maybe they meant the bird?
