Bummer, I tagged out today......

Well I used my 4 turkey tag this morning. I scored a double at 8:15 am...so my season has ended.

Our season opened here the 26th of March. I was able to take a this gobbler last week that will be mounted. It sported an 11" beard along with 1 1/8" spurs.




Here are the two I took this morning........
Both had 10" berads and had 1" and 7/8" spurs




and here is a pic of the 3 birds not including the one that is being mounted. The far left beard is a bird I didnt get any pics of but none the less a good tom with a beard that goes 10 1/2" and spurs 1"+

Sorry you have to kick back and listen to our turkey hunting stories the rest of your season while you chow down on wild turkey vitals. Bummer huh?

Congrats on the limit of nice longbeards. I'm saving my last Georgia Longbeard for now, calling for others. . . hope i dont end up wishing i would've tagged out when they were doing the fast walk to the dirty talk. Outta just shoot for myself and snag some AL license.
