4 beards!!!!

Has anyone else ever seen this? My neighbor came home from work Monday and said this weekend that one of his co-workers shot a bird with 4 beards. He said he saw the pics of the bird and the guy had the beard with him. He did say they were not very long though. I will try to get some pics from him.

yes actually I had a buddy take a bird with 7 beards once. Not too uncommon actually.

My sister-in-law's husband killed one a few years back with 3-beards. It was a really nice bird!

My dad shot one with a two beards one was 8 inches and one was 10, and Steve Puppie on the Hunter Specialties Pro Staff shot one with 6 beards!

The most I've gotten with one bird is three but multi-bearded birds aren't as uncommon as everyone thinks. Well, I take that back, that may be true for two bearded birds. More than two is far and few between.

Here's a gobbler I took a few years ago that had 6 beards!! The main beard was 10 3/8" long, along with 3 - 5 1/2", a 5", and a short stubby 1". best part is that I never knew it until I walked up to him after he was down!! I guess I was blessed getting this one!!

A friend of mine killed a 4 bearded bird about 12 years ago on our club. Total length of all beards combined was about 27". We named the food plot next to were he killed that bird Four Beard. About 5 years later another 4 bearded bird was killed on a place that I used to lease by a guest of a friend of mine but 2 of the beards were pretty thin and short. You had to dig through the feathers to see them. I've never killed a bird with more than 2 beards yet.
