I WAS CURIOUS WHAT THE BEST METHOD IS FOR HUNTING TURKEYS IN THE EVENING? DO YOU JUST FIND WHERE THEY ROOST AND SET UP UNDER THE TREE ? OR DO YOU DO THAT AND ALSO SETUP DECOYS AND TRY AND CALL? OR WHAT ? I NEED SOME EXPERIENCED ADVICE HAERE PLEASE.

not very sporting to try and shoot one out of a roosting tree. I would probably hunt near an area I know the turkey roost in, set out my decoys and call softly and seldom hoping to lure one by me.

There are some ethical issue with hunting a turkey's roost tree. However, Setting up on the turkey's travel pattern and calling them in is usually the wat to go.

Evening hunting is hard here in the east. I usually just hope to hear one fly up. If you have food plots, they do tend to grab a bite shortly before roost.
