    Default I let 2 Rookies Hunt My Mid-day Stand

    I hunt in this spot every day at 10:30 till 1 pm, it pays of from time to time, Not sure why but the turkeys love it up there at that time of day..
    My nephew gets one on his second day ever of hunting turkey, luky dog! 24lb. 6 oz. 10" beard with 1 1/4"spurs!
    My neighbor gott one 2 hours later at the same spot.. his first bird as well... 21 lbs 8 oz. 3/4"spurs 9" beard!
    Myself empty handed for the weekend, but happy for the rookies....

    Looks like two very happy hunters you got there.
    Congrats on the great kills.
    It was a great thing letting them hunt there and get their first turkey.
