    I HIGHLY recommend the Primos Power Crystal. Louder than many box calls, yet soft as you want it to be. My buddies sure like me to bring it along...

    The Power Crystal is a very good call. My dad has one and I should get one. I have a Woods Wise waterproof slate call I got for Christmas that is good.

    yes the hen house is really good because u can change the pitch... the power crystal is awesome as well... I like to use both and make it sound like there are a bunch of hens!! Whatver you decide just be confident.. dont worry if u make a note that sounds bad just keep calling because its not the sound its the rythm that matters!! Good luck

    Honestly, for $10 shipped a Knight & Hale Sla-Tek Pocket Puppy is a hard call to beat. The thing sounds UNBELIEVEABLE and is very well priced as you can see.

    Another good reasonably priced call is the H.S. Stru Lil' Deuce.

    I've got one that has killed 20 birds for me, for sale, 20 bucks plus shipping. Primos Heritage Series Super Slate. Awesome call.

    I got mine for 5 bucks and already accounts for one bird. It is a good call, no doubt.

    I like the primos power crystal also. Dont get the black magic. Its a piece of crap. The hs strut lil deuce is hard to beat for the price.
