I am traveling home to southern Indiana tonight to hunt this weekend. It is supposed to rain like all heck through the night. I was wondering how all the rain and wind might affect the turkeys for the morning. Any ideas?

I would hunt the fields. Turkeys rely on their sense of sight and sound. In the woods they rely more on sound. With the rain falling, they can not hear as well. They may be in the fields so they can rely on their sense of sight. But you never know!!!!
Killed a big bird two years ago in a steady rain, but I was hunting near his roost in the evening. Didn't have to call since I knew the exact tree he liked to roost in. About 20 min before dark, here he came, right into my lap! Just dress warm and be patient!
Rain you can deal with, wind is worse. Hunt the pastures or road beds
