Good. Just hope they survive and a bobcat, yote, house cat or something don't eat em. My dad's friend has a hen with 3 or 4 poults walk across his driveway every day like clockwork. He can basically pattern them.![]()

i saw 5 cross the road with a big ol' girl yesterday.
I have not seen any turkey poults yet, but did see a hen pheasent with about 6 or 8 chicks.
I saw about 8 with a hen this week....looks like we are going to have a good hatching though.....hope they make it through the first couple of months and the preds stay away from them. We have lots of yotes and bobcats! Scary thing for the little ones....We will just have to wait and see!
O.K. Saw two hens with a bunch of young 'uns this evening. Probably about 10 or 12 peeps.........too many high weeds to see them all. But a bunch of them took off flying. They were between the size of a quail and a grouse.
Saw some yesterday while doing some camp projects. They are starting to get some size to them down here now.
I have seen two hens on our farm that had 15 hatchlings.
