Mossberg 535

I'm thinking of purchasing a dedicated turkey gun rather than using the one 12 gauge I currently have for everything. Camo taping every year is getting to be a pain. Does anyone have one of the new Mossberg 535's yet? For $389 the Hardwoods Green turkey model does not look too bad - http://www.mossberg.com/model535.htm

I don't have one but I am thinking about buying the 535 combo pretty soon. It includes the bird barrel with true glo sites and a fully rifled slug barrel with true glo sites. It is also fully camoflauged. At Dick's Sporting Goods I can get the combo for $299.99. Looks like a good gun and it seems like it would be an awesome turkey gun with the 3 1/2 inch capacity. It would really knock down them toms.

I like the turkey/waterfowl combo. It looks like it only comes in MOBU. Wish I could get it in Realtree HD Green or Max4

I was jus looking, and I think the 535 comes with a regular bore size, where the 835 is backbored.(i think thats what it's called) Not a big difference. There also could be a little difference in the action.

Hey all, I just bought one of these bad boys last october and i love it. I got the deer/turkey combo in mossy oak break up and i absolutly love it. It got the job done in deer season and I am VERY VERY confidant it will do the same this spring. Its basically a "suped up" version of the 500 but with the cababilities of shooting a 3.5'' shell like its brother the 835. They call it the "All Terrain Shotgun" for a reason...it can DO ANYTHING!

Do some price shoping! Walmart is selling camo 835's with 24 inch bbl for $298.95 here. I just bought a realtree 835 turkey at my local gun shop today for $325.95. I have been holding it all night long!
