Default Fixing a bent turkey tail?

Probably should post this in the taxidermist area but I have a jake tail spread out that has some bent feather tips.
    It looks horible...
    Definately not wall worthy.

I was wondering if light heat, or steam, or both, from an iron would flatten these feather tips out or would it make things worse on the barbs... ????

Steam will help a bit as long as the quills aren't cracked.
