It takes a little bit to get to the info you need, especially if you are from Minnesota.

I didn't draw a tag this year. I only applied for our zone and we don't have many tags available. I drew a tag the last two years, so I wasn't surprised. So, I'll have to take a year off and be back on a winning turkey team in 2007.

What zone did you apply for? Chances are if you apply next year you'll get a tag.

I think I am more bummed because this was the turkey hunt I had planned with my Father

Just checked mine. Got Zone 18 April 19-23.

I'm not sure where you can find out what zones/seasons have surplus tags.

Check out the link Wolff provided. If the zone you applied for has extra tags, I would try to purchase them ASAP.
