    Yeah she was probably dusting herself my chickens do it all the time.

    If you find such a spot along the side of a field it is a good spot to set up, where I hunt in NY the turkeys have been using some of the same dusting areas for years. It is funny to watch a bird shake after it has dusted all you see is a big cloud around it. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

    Yup we find a lot of dusting bowls. And if you aint sure about it, just look for tracks and feathers inside the bowls. Great late morning and mid day set up spot. Dont over look these.

    Yep........dusting. Sometimes they'll use the same spot for years. Usually these are good places to find an old tom hangin' around, waiting for the "girls" or he's followed them there.
