But what if that choke doesnt work for you? Then what? You want to get the best pattern from your gun, then you need to try different choke/loads. Its a process that everyone needs to do because every shotgun is different. I tried four different chokes, and three different shell makers, in three sizes of shot. #4's were the worst in all chokes! #6's worked the best in most. I am done? Probably not, I might try other chokes and shells. But I am quite happy with the results I am getting now. Got to go through the test yourself to find out what will pattern the best out of your gun!

Not sure you'd wanna use #4 shot. 4's carry some extra energy downrange. But, usually, the lack of pattern density at a distance over-rides that. If you're stuck on using 4's, I'd suggest getting a Comp-N-Choke XX-full (.675") tube. You'll need a bit of an opener choke for the bigger pellets.

Just so we get back on track here....

tigrz2000 ,, you get the jist now ?? it's not just the load or the choke seperately , but the two together that makes the optimal Turkey weapon... It takes alot of experimenting and time to get that perfect(or close to perfect) pattern for Turkey hunting..

Myself personally have tried 4 different kinds of Chokes (now on number 5) and countless number of loads and manufactures,,, but I think Im very close to what I will need for that optimal Turkey weapon..
