    Default What Triggers The Breeding Season????

    Well we know and/or believe that the amount of sunlight triggers the rut in deer.
    But what triggers the breeding season for turkeys???

    In addition to the length of day and night, the fact that one is increasing and the other decreasing is part of the trigger. in the fall is is the opposite for which is increase and decrease.
