In the state of Georgia it is legal to take a bird with a scoped muzzleoader. This being said, is it legal to take a bird off of its roost tree?
I dont find this very ethical but only know somebody that has.

Don't know about Georgia, but I'm betting it's illegal to shoot any turkey off its roost. Not very sporting at all. I know that's illegal in Ohio.
Check your shooting times I bet that he shot that bird off its roost before shooting time ... not always but most of the time the turkeys are down before or right at legal shooting time ... a coped muzzle loader I would think falls under wrong caliber in Georgia ... the roost issue I cant begin to teel you everything thats wrong with that ... it goes without saying ...
