My sons first hunt

I took my son for his first time for the youth hunt, he will be 7 the last day of this month. We had turkey all around us 6 mature toms with several hens we were hunting from a double bull matrix. He got a shot at 7 yrds and missed with a full choke .410 with #4s 3 inch. I'm sure the pattern was very tight at that distance but I wanted a close shot because of the .410. We had Drummin and gobblin all around us it was a good hunt. My son told me I was a great caller and he wanted to go again because I let him shoot. Funny thing is I was shaking like a leaf and he was nice and calm when ol'tom came in on us. Can't wait to do it again.
