    Default Mt 1st Bird

    Well guy's I did not get into the contest...I don't know why. I guess I did not see it until it was too late and this was my first time turkey hunting so it was not on my radar I guess?????
    Anyway my second day out and I have sucess!!!!
    I took this nice tom on the second morning.
    He weighs 23 Lbs
    has a 10 1/2" beard
    1" Spurs
    I was very happy for my first year, and next year I will look for the contest so I can get entered.

    Thanks everyone and yes the new house has been eating up a lot of my time LOL. And the crappie are starting to bite, and the mushrooms will be popping.... OHHHHHHHHH the delema's.
