cool video, but can you kill two birds in one day in your area? what would you have done if he hit them both, they were a little close to just get one.

    how far where they?

We arent exactly sure how far they were. But here in texas there isnt a limit on the number of birds per day.

I'd be curious to know the distance, too. Maybe you could step it off the next time you're in that area.

Whether or not you can take multiple birds in the same day, I would not take a shot with birds so close together. There's a very good chance you'll wound a bird (or two, or...) in that situation. Prey deserves more respect than that, IMO.

This looked especially dicey to me since the other birds entered the woods more or less in the line of fire and then you couldn't see where they were. Plus with a shot at long distance (this looked very long to me given how long it took the shooter to cover the ground out to where the birds had been), imagine how big your pattern is getting.

your pattern was so big it look like those birds were extremely out of range...did u have a decoy out? it would have a been a good idea, they were looking for something to give them confidence to close the distance

Like i said we missjudge the distance really bad. I had a decoy with me but i forgot to put it out.

i'm guessing...43 yards....birds looked small....you guys just made a viedo....of what not to do....meaning you did'nt know your yardage...and he was loading his gun while running......hmmm...maybe you should have done some editing before showing that clip....just my 2 cents......Honkers44

i really dont see why you guys are all putting your comments on here about not shooting at them... if you hit more than one then im sure he would have chased the other one down... but he didnt so he doesnt need to worry bout it and neither do you guys... yes it was a long shot... but i would have taken it if they were wakling away... and whats bad about loading while jogging if the safetys on??? my .02... sorry moderaters if this post is bad in ne way...
