got one this mourning

i shot a big ole tom this mourning after sitting out for a whopping 20 minutes. we located the birds got set up and had em all over us. to be close we had atleast 15 birds (not all toms) around us. 5 of which were right in my decoys. 4 toms and a hen. it weighed 21 lbs. 1ince spurs, and the beard was only 4 inches but it seemed like it got cut of or somethin cuz part of the beard was round 6 inches. ive got video of the kill now i just need to put it on my pc. nathan

Great Job, Pap shot one in Maine Like that. He froze his beard off to 4 inches, ground his spurs down to 1/4 inch walking in the ice, and had no food so he only weighed 14 lbs. but he was a 3 year old. LMBO, I think he can stretch it a ways. LOL

congrats...ive had no luck here in il the birds are all henned up and i dont have enough ground to hunt they fly down and go on the neighboring properties and then i hear nothing for the rest of the day...only heard 1 gobble this morning and they arent responding to calling
