Hens stuck it to me

Had two big gobblers coming in this morning when a hen popped up over the ridge and got spooked. She didnt acted lie she seen me but walked around a mintue then left. The toms when with her into the valley. Didnt see anything else all morning. Didnt even hear anything.

same thing happend to me saturday MH no worries....the birds are all henned up here in illinois they wont even respond to calling....even if they do the hens take them the opposite direction

I really have not seen many hens in my area. But the gobblers are there. Today a bunch of four-wheelers when riding in there, i hope nothing has ran off.

don't worry if they did leave they will be back in at least a couple of days. I've had bad luck, seems like everywhere I sit a hen wants to walk over me. i saw a gobbler with two hens and was watching down my gun barrel and one hen came right up in front (couple feet away) of me and got a little nervous and eased the other before the tom got into range.

All I seen all weekend was hens and was hoping sooner or later they would bring a tom by, but that never happened.
