Turkey Hunting in TX

What the heck is going on with the Texas turkeys. Does anybody know the answer to this? The birds are absolutely silent except for right before the fly down and right after they roost.

Not real sure, but they were not talking at my place over the weekend either. Last weekend, they were talking good, but was still henned up and I couldn't get them to leave the hens. Thought surely it would be better this wkend, but nothing. Got several pics of them on the game cams, so I sat by the cameras, but all that came by was the hens and not one single gobble was heard all wkend.
