    Default Got one!

    I have been training on days at work and have not had but a couple of days to use for turkey hunting. Got this guy this morning. He is pretty strutted out. Only 15 lbs, 10 inch beard and 7/8 inch spurs. I went to a spot where i had success in the past made a few yelps and he showed up. very quietly I might add. I almost didn't see him. Sorry, I couldn't help contribute to a team score. Didn't get in on time.

    i think that's a real nice bird.. wasnt your fault he weighed 15lbs, lol........my one bird weighed 14 lbs. , killed me, lol.....the way i look at it, he was a busy bird and maybe some of poults i'm seeing are his

    WTG!!! That birds weight reminds me of birds I took close to the end of the season here in NY.
    What really matters is the "hardware" they are carrying with them!!
