So I'm sitting here trying to decide, where I should roost turkeys tonight? Should I stick with the homeground and go where that turkey roosted the other night, although I don't know if it was a hen or tom, and I don't even know if the tom is still around. Or, should I go over to the state land I haven't been to in 2 weeks, where there was alot of turkey sign up on this logging trail on a ridge, where I saw 2 hens one night, and see if there are any birds there? Or, my other thought was I could try to roost birds on the homeground tonight, and if no luck, hit the state land in the am, or hunt home in the morning for a couple hours, then drive over to the state land and try that for a few hours? Hmmm...late season decisions are tough. Anyone have a suggestion?![]()
