Hi, I'm Jeff and I'm a turkaholic...least that's what my wife said the other day when I darn near ran off the road and into a ditch with the car while looking at a flock of gobblers along the highway!!!!
Can't wait til spring!!!

I'd pull over before looking too long. Keep a journal of where and when you see them. You'll be ready for the season before you know it.

Hello Jeff, The first step to recovery is admitting your addiction. I am a turkaholic too. It's been 9 long months since my last turkey harvest. I have battled my addiction for 9 months now but I feel a setback coming March 15th.

I guess I fall into that catagory too.

All I can say is I'm glad I don't have to make a choice between spring turkey hunting and bowhunting for deer. Turkey hunting would win out hands down.

Saw 7 longbeards in one section, 2 in another. Overall 'bout 30 turkeebirds couple Saturdays ago.

Fever ain't set in yet but I surely hope it does.........I think it will cuz I just got cold chills just thinkin' 'bout it

The fevers has been easing over me now for a month or so . . . .

but for me. . . . gobbling turkeys never stray far from mind, i just have to engulf myself in pursuing other birds to overcome the addiction until the time is reasonably close.

two days ago i saw about 20-30 birds in a field on my way to a job my coworkers thought they were going to die ,but i say my taxes pay for both sides of the road so gauk on

Ya the time is going to slow...but it does every year. It seems like as soon as christmas is over I fell that turkey season is right around the corner....but its still a good 5 months away. I get all ready to go then have to wait months before I get a chance to get out there on some birds.

I try to pass the time by doing some very early scouting just trying to see some birds and find a general location. Can't wait for spring.
