I've held them in the stores and the way my 835 kicks I do not think I want to get my thumb mixed up in that deal. They look pretty decent though.
I have one and can vouch for the kick effect: I've had bruising at times on my thumb after patterning sessions.
That said, I like the pointability of the TH stock. As with any "fit" issue, I'd suggest holding one yourself to try the fit and feel.
i also liked the look of the stock but when i held one i didnt like it...the pistol grip is completely different...and awesome to hold.
3 1/2" Mags + 835 Turkey Gun = bruised shoulders!!
i love it though

Yep! But when the bird comes into view, you never feel the kick! I never had anyways! I also own an 835 Ulti-Mag.
Hey! I just thought of something, this should qualify for an OTPG membership! LOL!

I have a limb saver recoil pad and only use 3" shells so not a problem for me. I can not seem to find just the stock for sell they want me to buy the entire gun.
Side note:
How about the weight of this monster. You really know that you have been hunting after carrying this gun all day.
I checked on the thumb hole for my 835 .Mossberg told me all the thumb hole stocks they was produceing right now was going on the new guns maybe in the future they would sell them.
Concerning weight: My 835 TH is lighter than my late 1980's era Remington 11-87, so I guess it's relative. :-)
