    Default Albino turkey post 2...

Last night I went down to the farm and took Katy with me. Pulled in and there was a white stinking turkey Tame turkeys are white correct?

This is the seconed time I have saw this bird. To bad I didnt have a camera with me last night. Going to try and catch a trail cam pic of him.

Or are my eyes just going bad?

But anyway thats the 2nd white turkey Ive seen know for a fact its not the one I posted about last time for it was way way to far away from the farm.

Yes.. domesticated turkeys are white, but the one you are talking about is most likely just an albino mutation of your local flock, unless you have a turkey farm nearby.

Seen some wild white ones before too but probably been 7 or 8 years since I saw my last one. The only white ones I've ID'ed were hens though. Can't say I've seen a white gobbler before except for an odd color phase one killed by someone else. That one had a lot of white in the wings (primary wing feathers) and center of the fan but the rest was bronze to copper colored except for his black beard.
