Turkeys and the Weather

So these past few weeks the weather has been wacky!!!
Day time of sunny 70-80s to 30-40s and wind blowing. Some of us have even had snow.

What will all this do to turkeys and their breeding activity?? Will the gobblers still be gobbling and strutting or will the cold stop them??

In my experience wind won't necessarily keep them from gobbling, it will however make it a lot more difficult to hear them. Rainy days seem to make them much quieter, especially when there are storms. I have heard them gobble in the snow but not nearly as much as on a clear day. I don't believe the cold will stop them from gobbling. It might make the hens tend to their nest a lot earlier in the day if they have eggs already, and the toms might be out looking a lot earlier which may make them a bit more vocal.
