MO turkeys

Has anyone been out scouting the turkeys? Anyone hearing any gobbling going on in Missouri? The season starts next week, and hopefully I'll be able to go and do a little scouting and find where they are roosting. good luck everyone.

well the season in s.c has started for about a week and they are just startin to gobble here anilike last year but i wouldnt know bout up there

I've been out several times and they are gobblin like crazy! Just got back from the woods and had one gobble about 5 times at 1:45 pm. Them talkin that late was a first for me...

They were gobbling really good for me but it seems like the cold front that came in shut them down alittle bit. As it warms back up they should start hammerin again.

they have been gobblin out on my uncles place, I took my lil brother durin youth season and we seen a couple but they never got close enough.Hopefully season is goin to be a success for people this year.Good luck to everyone.

Yup they are gobblin. Like stated above the cold weather shut them up some, but as it gets warmer the activity will pick up too.
I know of several kids that killed birds during the youth season.
