Well 27 days into our season & one is finally on the ground. I have hunted this particular farm on 8 different occasions, just to come home defeated & bruised (pride). Been dealing with typical early season field birds...hit the ground & strut behind the ladies. It's tough, as you know, dealing with that many eyes & ears, not to mention the REAL thing.
Well, the wife asked me last night...where are you going in the morning? "Where do you think?" came my reply. "You know you are just going to come home mad" she said.
Not this morning my dear!!!
Perfect morning for a turkey hunter. A 2 year old with NO girlfriends!!! What else could a man ask for?
