Default Two Rio Grandes down in Kansas

The New Realtree APG pay's off in kansas as I was able to sneak in undetected and get setup on a Flock of 10 strutters and 15 hens. Using my primos box cutter box call I was able to cut the wind and call these strutters over 300 yards acoss a fresh burned field and a patch of winter wheat. I had nothing for cover other then a 4 inch dogwood tree which by the way wasn't pleasant leaning against. What seemed like hours but was only minutes these bruisers broke from there hens and came running to my jake and hen decoy's. I am a soldier in the US Army and I have hunted most of my life in Upstate NewYork where I was born and raised. Hunting out here in kansas has been a tough love kind of thing for me. I had a great year in the tree stand watching monsterbucks this year but never being able to close the deal. I had seen these birds from my stand all year and have been waiting along time for this day. I most say opening day of turkey season, my mossburg 835 turkey gun and Realtree APG was a deadly combination. I am still trying to figure out how to post my photos on here if anyone can help me out please send me a message. Thanks Spc Spoon
