Anyone hened up?????????

I have a tough time tryin ti get toms out in theopen for a shot but there already hened up by the time i get out there. Even in the 1st season on the first day they wont leave there hens. What should i do??????

join the club...toms around here have bee henned up since opening day. im now going to the opposite corner of the state to hopefully change my luck!!

I talked to a guy at the illinois DNR and he said that the cold snap that came through a few weeks ago really screwed up the birds. He said that the best season for illinois would be 5th season and it was. The only way I could get them in down here was by calling agressive or finding there strut zone and calling.
