My 1st Tom made me famous.

I shot my 1st Tom on May 6th and had my hunting buddie take the pics since he has a much better camera. Just trying to get pics for the RT contest.
(Its my 3rd turkey, just 1st decent Tom.)

Then a week or so later I start getting all these hate emails about why I did not tell anyone I was getting my picture in the local paper!
Huh???? , I said.
I had no idea it was even in there... LOL

My buddie is pretty connected locally with a few state biologists and the like had emailed a pic to one of them.
Well long story short, most of Vermont now knows I shot a nice Tom.
LOL

I plan to get a fan/beard mount done, and now it seems, a small framed pic of me in the paper for the game room.

No interview.
I had no idea it was happening actually.
My buddie says, "Hey your pic may show up in the paper".
Umm... OK, I said.
He gave all the info to his bioligist friend for me.
Still pretty cool for me to have a few friends a family see it.
