    Default Gobblin' up a storm!!

last Saturday and this morning both, the gobblers have been going at it full force. There have been several of them on the hillside across from my deer stand just tearing it up. They've started right at "gobbling time" and kept right on going through 9:00 or better.

Only 7 short months 'til spring gobbler season.

Thats great! I saw some tracks the past Monday while walking out of my stand location. Have not seen or heard birds yet though.

My girlfriend and I were bowhunting last week and a tom gobbled right behind her. Scared the you know what out of her. We never saw the bird but it was pretty cool to hear that.

Ya thats the same thing I have been hearing. Although it makes April seem that much farther away! I had one real nice longbeard fly down about 35 yards from me last weekend and as soon as he hit the ground he went into full strut. It was neat to see.

I have been hearing them every morning since the beginning of archery season! Maybe one will get close enough around the end of October!

The type of car you drive doesnt matter. The only thing that matters is the size of the arm hanging out the window!
