    Default B- Mobile

Me and my uncle are planning on turkey hunting again this year and we were needing some good decoys at an affordable price. What do you guys this about the B-Mobile and other brands such as that??? Another thing is it better to have tom decoy and hen, justa hen, or just the tom??? Thanks

I think that they add that extra tool in the box. We use a mounted tom that I killed the year before its rough but looks great. I cant believe the response that we had last year with the one that we had then. It drew the birds to us like nothing ever had, Get one youll love it..........

    Welcome to the forums!

My son just picked up a B mobile today at Gander Mt here in NY. Think he paid $69. To me that is on the high end $$$ for a turkey decoy. We took it home set it up and the body looks awesome. Beard is authentic looking. Very sturdy and strong in critical places, great colors too. But that also means, in cold weather it might be hard to get it to the shape. The tail fan is made of a silk like material that is almost see through. That I don't like. But the B mobile gives you a part to use real turkey tail feathers instead of the supplied silk one. A real tom tail has 18 tail feathers, the B mobile one has a tail fan adapter for 16. So it will look a bit short on width. I placed a tail fan from last year on it and OH boy did it look good. The combo of the real fan and the body they provide will definitely be a killer combo.
Use your own tail feathers and it'll bring results.
We mostly used the foam type decoys and they work fine, just after a few years of rolling them up, the color goes away on them.
    Good Luck!

Ive been using the Sceery infalatable hen decoys for a few years now....they look pretty good, they have fooled a few toms already. And they deflate and fit into just about any vest pocket. Ive never used a tom decoy before. Im sure i will get one someday.

I normally only put out one hen decoy. Or if i put two out, they are separated by 15yds or so.

saw the B-mobile for the first time the other day at Primos. Looked like a really great decoy. Would love to have one; but not this year.

I think the I'll be getting a B-Mobile this year. They look great and the tom decoy seems to draw the hens in with that Ol' tom in tow.
I used a Montana strutting tom decoy 2 years ago and had multiple hens come to it but the toms stayed back out of range, I think it was to big. I have a jake fan I got this fall that I will be using on my B-mobile. Hopefully they will challenge him better.
    LET'S GET IT ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunatley, now we are starting to understand what the second quote means, and... what the first quote says about us.

Wal mart here has them. Think they were $59. Still a lot for a turkey decoy. Too much for me.

I almost bought one at Gander Mountain this past weekend. I can't bring myself to spending that much on a decoy though. Besides that, if the first bird that I had within seeing distance of it didn't come in, I probably wouldn't ever use it again.

I do believe i'll be buying one of them this spring. Got some hard headed turkeys around us that just dont like to come in all the way and seal the deal. Hopefully this will help.

I picked up a B-Mobile about a month ago with a Gander Mtn. gift card I got for Christmas. Took it out of the box, put it on a 5-gallon bucket, and pointed a small electric space heater at it for awhile to get it to it's correct shape. Looks great. I may use a jake fan from one of my birds last year instead of the fake silk fan that comes with it.

I use the Cherokee inflatable decoys. I have tried all kinds and these have been the best for me. They came out with a new line up including a full strut that i will try out this spring. They have molded lifelike heads that are the most realistic i have seen on a decoy, especially for the price which can't be beat. Here is the link.

The Primos line of decoys works great. To answer your question about what decoys to use, I would have to say it depends on the mood the perticular turkey your hunting is in. One day a hen might do the trick alone if he's not as aggressive. If he seems real aggressive to your calling I would suggest putting a jake or gobbler decoy out. That will bring him in running if he is in the right mood.

Good Luck this season hope this helps.
