turkey skinz

Has anyone seen the new turkey skinz offered by Cabela's? It seems very pricey but looks intresting. I was thinking about how long it would last coming in and out of your vest all season. Would it last more than one season? Seems to be a good idea for realism but can't help to wonder about durability. With a price tag of $40 I might wait for some feed back. I'm not sure what they get for those Hazel Creek Real decoys but I sure don't plan on carrying one of those around.

Seen them in the spring turkey catalog. As much as I would like to have some better decoys, do not see me getting any new decoys this year.

We just got some at work the other day and they are pretty cool. They are made of real turkey feathers and they go right over the top of your old decoy. It is made by A-Way hunting.

yeah i was wondering about the duribility as well. For me its hard enough to get everything to go right in the morning turkey hunting let alone messing with them skins. Good idea tho will probably make a-way hunting a bundle

I thought it was worth considering until I thought back the dozens of birds that had come in to my decoys long before the real feather idea hit the market. My dekes probably won't be wearing any skinz this year...no need to fix what's not broken! They look good though.
