I have the Lil' Heartbreaker and to be honest, I really didn't care for the sound of it in the field. Mine is just too prone to making a screechy sound at times. It sits on the shelf now.
I was impressed with the Primos Box Cutter. One guy that went to Texas with us last year had one. It sounds real good and those birds in Texas really liked it. He said it worked well for him hunting south MS Eastern birds too. I added this box to my arsenal of calls in my turkey vest for this spring.
I usually only carry one box call with me. I have a strong preference toward slate calls, especially while working in close quarters with a gobbler. Of course I keep a diapham call ready too.
I have a Heartbreaker.
It's a dandy boxcall. A little on the spendy side, maybe. But I really like the high rasp. It'll really belt it out there, too.

Off The Porch is where it's at!!
I have the Heartbreaker. I love it. I bought it after hearing another guys. I liked his so I bought one. It gets better with age.
Mine isn't autographed like Strut-10. I'd like to have another one that was autographed.
I have had situations where a bird wouldn't answer anything else in my vest, but couldn't resist that penetrating call of the Heartbreaker.
Get one and let us know what you think...
I wasn't really impressed with the heartbreaker either. THat is my opinion some people might like it. Basically its alot about personal preference and what kind of calling you do.
