Does anyone have any ideas on what would be a good way to display a grand slam. Either Fans or capes. I've got a couple Im working on but would like to hear some other ideas.
Post some pics if you have any.
Thanks

The best form of "Gun Control" is... a good eye and a steady hand.
The next time someone ask you "who gives you the right to take an animal" refer them to:

What about taking the fans, etc and mounting the whole display on a board with the plaques like the one in the post but have the plaques pertrude out at varying amounts, kind of like making it three dimensional. You could place the fans in groups of three, or whatever number and then just put the 'clusters' on the wall. On each plaque put the species and the rest of the data, so you can remember the stats. JMHO
i think it would be sweet to have a long board with all of the fans, spurs, beards maybe some pictures
that pic above is pretty sweet.
i like that mount.. i would just get them all full mounted and display them that way lol
Obviously it would be very expensive and you would need a lot of room but I would do it one of two ways......
1. all mounted in full strut side my side..
OR
2. Have them all mounted in a roost tree.....each limb having a different bird...By this I mean a partial tree in the corner of your house and going up each limb is a different bird. On roost. Yes lots of room would be needed....but it sure would look cool...IMO![]()

I've seen them done 2 ways.
1. By picking out one of the fans and then displaying all 4 beards and spurs under the fan.
2. All 4 birds mounted side by side on the wall.
