Sent my 9 and 14 year olds' barrels out to Wright's yesterday to be threaded for interchangeable chokes. They should be back in about 2 weeks. Then they're off to my smith's for drilling, tapping and Weaver rail installation for the mouinting of red-dot sights. Need to call Chuck Boswell at Comp-N-Choke for a pair of XX-Full (.565") tubes in the mean time. We're bringin' it. There's gonna be a nasty pair of 20's in the safe in plenty of time for April.![]()

First, the gunsmith at Wright's told me there's be about a week's turn around time. Three weeks after I sent the barrels I called him. He said that someone had evidently dropped their tool to cut the 20 ga. threads for Rem-Choke. It was too messed up to use. He had been calling everyone he could think of to find another with no luck for weeks and weeks. In the mean time I had talked to Chuck Boswell at Comp-N-choke and he was sorry.........but they were out of almost all 20 ga. turkey tubes.......including the ones I needed.
) at 30 yards and thoroughly ventilating it. I'm saying that any turkey within 30 yards of the front of that gun is in dire straits if one of the Strutlets is at the controls.
