    That is spurs I am talking about. 90% of mine are from Pa. the other 10% are from MO, Tx, and Ny. Yes sir that makes me a "pro Staffer" LOL

    Those are some awesome collections!!!!! Here are the spurs from my one and only longbeard (so far) that I harvested last spring. They measured 1 1/8" and 1 1/16"

    Dang guys!! I have only taken 3 birds in my life. The biggest had 1 1/8" spurs but sadly no pictures!!

    Yes it was. That Osceola in their bloodline (these turkeys are hybrids) sprouts pretty good hooks. Body weight wise though these birds are dinks. That bird had a 9 1/2" beard and didn't break 19lbs. That joker was probably 4yrs old a pure eastern would have been over 21lbs by then easy.

    Still not gonna complain about the jewelery.

    Dang. I like hunting my easterns though, them big bodies and thick beards and spurs get me pumped.
