First off, that's my buddies bunch of spurs. He sent me that pic showing his new spur display, that I made for him. He's been at this game for quite some time!!
Those are some awesome collections!!!!! Here are the spurs from my one and only longbeard (so far) that I harvested last spring. They measured 1 1/8" and 1 1/16"

Yes it was. That Osceola in their bloodline (these turkeys are hybrids) sprouts pretty good hooks. Body weight wise though these birds are dinks. That bird had a 9 1/2" beard and didn't break 19lbs. That joker was probably 4yrs old a pure eastern would have been over 21lbs by then easy.
Still not gonna complain about the jewelery.![]()
Dang. I like hunting my easterns though, them big bodies and thick beards and spurs get me pumped.
