    Default New CA Youth Turkey Hunt season this year

    One huge change to the regs this year for the CA youths. They get 2 weeks for a youth turkey hunt season after the main gun season.

    That's great! We have 2 days designated as youth days that occur the Saturday & Sunday prior to the regular season opener. They just started it a couple of years ago. I'm suppose to take my nephew tomorrow but they're forecasting 1" - 3" of snow overnight. Hopefully it will stay north of here and we'll bag a big'un in the morning.

    That is cool Jesse. We have a two day youth turkey hunt here the week before the regular spring season opens. Not sure how long there have been youth turkey hunts here.
