    Default NY birds hammering this morning!!!

    Went out this morning to check up on a farm that I'm thinking about hunting for tomorrow's opener. There's been 5 or 6 big ole longbeards hanging out in the fields here every evening and I have a pretty good idea where they like to roost. Got out of my truck at around 5:35...hit the crow call and the woods just came alive with gobbling!!! They were right where I hoped that they would be. I think I know where I'm gonna be in the morning.... Unfortunately, I probably won't be alone. Guess I'll just have to get up and over there good and early. Something tells me that its gonna be one of those long sleepless nights!!!

    Good luck!

    Heard nothing here this morning Don't know if it was the 20 degrees or that bird got shot during youth season, although haven't really seen signs of anyone else.
