Keep it in the freezer when not in use.

I keep mine in a little Tupperware container filled with a 50/50 solution of mouthwash and water. I keep the container in the fridge.

The call I used tol kill my fall bird this year is somewhere in the vicinity of 8 years old. So they last pretty well.

Heat, sunlight and acidity of saliva will break down the latex reeds.

The latex stretches with use and abuse. I dry mine and store them in a small airtight plastic box with a dessicant pack with them.
I do not refridgerate or freeze - just room temp.

I always make sure I put them away clean and dry. I wipe my calls dry with a paper towel or toilet paper before I put them away. A small ziploc bag works good.

Diaphragm calls are gonna wear out. It's just one of those things I plan on buying a couple of every season.

My mouth calls get abused! I wash them everyday I use them in mouth wash and water then put them in a zip lock bag. At the end of the season I toss them and buy new ones the next season.
