    Default Turkey Vests

Hey guys what kind of vests do you use or what are some good ones that are out there. I've been thinking of getting one for this spring and was wondering what are some good ones.

I bought a new vest last year, darn if I don't remember the brand it is. Its an actual vest, not the strap like kind. I love it! I used to have the strap like one, but I'll never go back to that kind now. Only downside was the camo pattern it came in, if ya know what I mean.

I got an H.S. SUV vest like 2 years back in RT aPG...love the thing....seat can be a little hard after sitting for like 2 hours but I think that happens with alot of vests....it's a nice vest...think I paid $50 for it from Cabelas.

I had a 10X for about 15 years----finally gave out. The cloth around the snaps mostly. I bought one at Wal-mart last spring. $20 it's OK. The one thing I like about it is it's a mesh-----no trapping heat from the long hikes chasing these Colorado Merriams. CB

I got a mossy oak dixon vest. I really like it the layout of it. They did make the limbhanger vest after it.

I have this one but have added a few things to it. I added two D rings and a strap for my shot gun. Lots of room

I use a HS Strut vest in APG. Absolutely love the vest from the bird bag in the back, the gun strap that is adjustable on the shoulder and the location/set up of the pockets. The only thing that could be redisigned for better use is the seat. It is comfortable for about 2 hours, after that it leaves some to be desired as well as the triangular shape, but for movement while walking, its triangular shape is handy. Good luck in your choice, I got mine on clearance 2 years ago just after turkey season from Cabelas for under $50 shipped.

    Thumbs up

Another vote for the Mossy Oak Elite vest. Planning on getting another one before this comming spring season in their Obsession camo pattern. It has much more green in it than their Break-Up pattern. Besides comming with 20 zippered pockets!!!!
